Who is Katie Dunwell?
Katie's extensive professional background includes Partner at a boutique investment bank and leading a marketing team at Amazon’s corporate HQ. My volunteer experience includes currently serving as a Wilsonville City Councilor and prior board experience with both nonprofit and corporate boards.
I was raised in western South Dakota near the Pine Ridge Reservation and I am an enrolled tribal member of the Oneida Nation. I has lived in Oregon since 2001.
Serving the Community
Each of us has a moral responsibility to make a difference. If I can help make this community better by serving on the City Council, then my time of service will be a success. I am following the role of my parents - to serve our community and model good behavior with a spirit of leadership rather than conflict. When necessary, it also means being tenacious and courageous to best serve the people of Wilsonville.
